1. Programs

Our coaching and courses are intended and only suitable for individuals aged eighteen (18) and above. Some of the content in this Program may not be appropriate for children. At Home Author hereby disclaims all liability for use by individuals under the age of eighteen (18).

2. Payment

​

You agree to the fees and payment schedule selected at checkout.  All payments are in USD only. You understand and agree that for any payment plans, you will be charged on the same day each month until the payment plan is complete. By enrolling in a payment plan, you are committing to the full payment term unless you qualify for a refund as outlined below.

You understand that enrollment in a membership program means your plan will renew on the same day each month until you, the author, cancel the membership. At Home Author will not cancel memberships unless the request is explicitly stated in writing.

 

If paying by debit card or credit card, you give us permission to automatically charge your credit or debit card for all fees and charges due and payable to At Home Author, without any additional authorization, for which you will receive an electronic receipt. You also agree that the Company is authorized to share any payment information and instructions required to complete the payment transactions with its third-party payment service providers (e.g., credit card transaction processing, merchant settlement, and related services).

 

If payment is not received by the date due, you will have a seven (7) day grace period to make the payment, otherwise the Program will not continue and we reserve the right to terminate your access to the Program and all content, as defined below, immediately and permanently.

3. Refunds

​

Non-Refundable: The Company does NOT provide a refund for individual coaching calls

​

Unless otherwise provided by law, you acknowledge that we do not offer refunds for any portion of your payment for any of our coaching programs and no refunds will be provided to you at any time. By using and/or purchasing our coaching program(s), you understand and agree that all sales are final, and no refunds will be provided.

*Profitable Picture Books Guarantee: The Company provides a 30-Day Guarantee only for At Home Author's Profitable Picture Books Program

To claim the 30-Day Guarantee, you must email contact@athomeauthor.com within thirty (30) days of purchasing the Profitable Picture Books Program. The company will NOT provide refunds for any request that comes more than thirty (30) days following the date of purchase. After day thirty (30), all payments are non-refundable, and you are responsible for full payment of the fees for the Program regardless of whether you complete the Program.

*The above policy expired on August 9th, 2023 when the program shifted to a membership instead.

7-Day Guarantee: The Company provides a 7-Day Guarantee for all other purchases (courses & products) made through At Home Author.

 

You are eligible for a full reimbursement within 7 calendar days of your purchase unless you have completed a course in its entirety. Full completion of a self paced course disqualifies you from a refund. After the 7-day period you will no longer be eligible and won't be able to receive a refund. To claim the 7-Day Guarantee, you must email contact@athomeauthor.com within seven (7) days of purchasing a product or self-paced course.

The 7-Day Guarantee refund does NOT apply to the Profitable Picture Books membership/program.

After determining that you are entitled to a refund according to the policies outlined above, the At Home Author will issue an instruction to its payment processor to issue the refund. The Company does not control its payment processor and will not be able to expedite any refunds.

​

If you receive a refund, that will immediately terminate any and all licenses granted to you to use the material and content. You shall immediately cease using the material and content and will destroy all copies of the information provided to you, including without limitation: video recordings, audio recordings, template documents, slide shows, membership areas, social media groups limited to paying participants, and other provided resources.
